How to get the most out of a trip: the set and setting

If you are curious about a psychedelic experience and want to get the most out of it then you should ensure that the conditions are optimal. I have previously written about this, but because it is such an important aspect I go at it again. There are some things to keep in mind for an optimal experience. The main factors involved in optimal psychedelic experience are set and setting. The set refers to how one feels. The setting refers to the environment of the user.

Truffles Magic open the door to the unconscious. In the unconscious, everything is possible, think of all the crazy things you can dream about when you are asleep. The unconscious is unpredictable, anything can be experienced by the user. How the user deals with this depends largely on the set. The set contains everything that is in the subconscious of a person. Actually it is a culmination of everything we have experienced in life. The personal values of somebody, his attitudes and aspirations are also part of the set. These matters determine the user’s focus on and how they will deal with their own psyche.

The best thing you can do if you have an uncomfortable experience is to surrender to it. If you’re going to resist it the feelings may lead to a strengthening of the negative feelings. This is an unsatisfactory result and sometimes even results in psychotic attempts to escape it. The total surrender to the feelings often produces the opposite: acceptance, gratitude and fulfillment.

The setting is also a major aspect of the experience. With setting we mean the environment in which the trip is experienced. If you are surrounded by a beautiful natural setting, beautiful artwork and other interesting things you’ll be rewarded with a pleasant experience. One of the important things is the presence of a sober and stable person. Preferably, the sober person is also familiar with the effects of Magic Truffles. As a user, it is reassuring that there is a person who can help and put things in perspective. Besides setting and set there are other things that result in a pleasant experience. I want to get back on this in later blog posts.

Do you reccomend me to take my truffles when my family is close? I mean, will they notice I am on the effects of the truffles? I don’t want them to know it… yet.

By the way, thanks for the blog articles and the site in general 🙂

      Hi Mauro,
They will probably notice you’re tripping or behaving diffently, like over-elaborating.
In my opinion you shouldn’t use them if you don’t want them to know, because you need a comfy setting with nothing to worry about.

      Cheers, Peter
