It’s often said, you should eat magic truffles on an empty stomach. Everyone is right about that. The effect of magic truffles is much better when you take them on an empty stomach. It looks strange we give truffle recipes, because you have to eat truffles on an empty stomach, but it isn’t. This magic truffle recipe keeps your stomach ‘empty’ because of the light ingredients that are used. How do you make magic truffle salad?

A nice tasteful magic truffle recipe. You can also use magic mushrooms instead of magic truffles. This recipe is for two persons.

Ingredients for Magic Truffle Toast:

-          Two portions magic truffles or mushrooms
-          Four slices of bread
-          A little butter and olive oil
-          A garlic bulb
-          A shallot
-          Halve a portion mushrooms
-          A dash of sherry
-          1 cup of demi crème fraîche
-          A little cornstarch
-          Fresh Parsley
-          Fresh thyme
-          Parmesan cheese
-          Salt and pepper

Making the magic truffle toast

-          Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
-          Roast the toasts
-          Butter the toasts
-          Cut the shallots and mushrooms in small pieces. Cut the magic truffle as small as posible
-          Heat de olive oil in a frying pan. Put the shallots and mushrooms in the frying pan and fry them.
-          Add the garlic, pepper, salt and sherry in the pan
-          Mix the cornstarch and crème fraiche
-          Add the mixed cornstarch and crème fraiche
-          Mix all ingredients without the parmesan cheese
-          Spread all ingredients on the toasts and add the parmesan cheese
-          Put the toasts in the oven and wait for five minutes

A delicious fresh magic truffle recipe. The recipe is for two persons. You can make the carpaccio with magic truffles or mushrooms.

Ingredients for Magic truffle carpaccio

  • Two portions of magic truffles or mushrooms(for example hollandia truffles)
  • 200 grams of carpaccio(for example beef or deer)
  • Small bag of salad
  • Parmesan cheese
  • A few mushrooms
  • Some walnuts
  • A sprig of chervil
  • One tablespoon of olive oil
  • One tablespoon of walnuts oil
  • One tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper

Magic truffle carpaccio

  • Lay down the carpaccio above the salat on a plate
  • Mix the oils with the vinegar and salt & pepper
  • Throw the mixture over the carpaccio
  • Cut the mushrooms in small pieces and add them to the carpaccio
  • Cut the magic truffles in small pieces en add them to the carpaccio
  • Add the walnuts and parmesan cheese

A delicious recipe to eat your triptruffles. You can also use mushrooms instead of truffles. It will take about half an hour to makes this delicious truffle soup.

Ingredients neccesary for this soup 

  • Magic truffles (hollandia, atlantis, tampanensis, mexicana etc.) or mushrooms.
  • 100 grams of each: oyster mushrooms, chestnut mushrooms, shii-take and normal mushrooms.
  • Two shallots
  • One herb bouillon cube
  • 1 cup of demi crème fraîche
  • Chives and parsley
  • Olive oil

How do you make truffle soup?

  • Chop de challots
  • Take a stockpot. Heat oil and fry the challots
  • Cut the mushrooms into small pieces and add them with the challots
  • Make 700 mililiters of broth with the broth cube. Pour in the  broth
  • Cut the truffles or mushrooms into very thin slices and add them
  • Let the broth simmer for ten minutes
  • Then, puree a portion of the soup in the blender. Or puree it all. It’s your choice.
  • Add everything together in the stockpot. As last you have to stir in the crème fraiche and the green herbs
  • It’s possible to add some salt and pepper

The major benefit of drinking truffle magic tea compared to just eating the truffles is the taste. Magic truffles have a rather peculiartaste, which is not appreciated by everyone. By pulling the tea out of the truffles, the taste watered down and start your trip without the truffle taste in your mouth.

We have received the question of how to best consume the magic truffles more than once. Broadly there are two different ways of consuming magic truffles: you can eat them and you can make tea. If you put the magic truffles in tea you’ll the taste the flavour of the truffle less. For some people this is nice because they do not adore the taste of magic truffles.
