I recently ordered a sample of Hollandia truffles from trufflemagic.com and I would just like to relate my experience with trufflemagic.com and of course, the truffles themselves . Firstly, the service – This was excellent. An easy to navigate website and swift delivery are sure fire winners in my eyes. The vacuum packed sample arrived in a plain white jiffy bag within a few days of placing the order. No complaints at all.
The product itself went far beyond my expectations. I have tried truffles once before (mexicana, not from trufflemagic) and although that experience was pleasant, it was marred by slight nausea and tiredness. This time was very different. It was nothing but euphoric all the way. (more…)
I received the psilocybe hollandia in an envelope with padding on the inside. Excitedly, I tore
it open to see little brown lumps sitting inside. The quality was great, it
smelled like a fresh harvest indeed. Plopping them into my mouth, I chewed
them and was greeted by an earthy, nutty taste. They could be cooked, but
of course, that is not what I ate them for!

This stuff is amazing!
I took the truffles together with some friends, we started around 4 pm. And what followed was an amazing afternoon for all of us. The truffles worked pretty quickly, might be a minute or 20. (more…)

Both me and my friend received our blank envelope full of hollandia truffles within a few days of ordering. We decided to eat half a portion straight away and walk to the centre of the small village near the coast of England in which we live. This is what scientist from the university of Oxford have found, published in the journal “Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.”
