Last Monday the results of an investigation into the effects of psilocybin where published. Psilocybin occurs naturally in magic mushrooms and magic truffles.
The group mainly British scientists, published in PNAS, the results of their study using fMRI scans (functional magnetic resonance imaging scans).
30 Subjects were, while in the scanner, intravenous infusions of placebo and psilocybin. This procedure is designed to capture the transition from normal waking consciousness to the psychedelic state.
After ingestion of psilocybin was seen that the brain areas that are very densely packed with nerve cells get less blood, which decreases its activity.
These brain areas are involved in managing information flow in the brains. Reduced activity in these areas ensures that information from different senses can come together. The effect is a creation of a different sensation of reality.
The medial prefrontal cortex is the part of the brains that is related to depression. This is already examined in previous research. It has been shown that depressed people have an overactive medial prefrontal cortex.
The use of psilocybin ensures that those activities in that area are lower. This can be a therapeutic effect. The conclusion of the study is that psilobybine can be used to treat depression.
Note that this should be done under the supervision of professionals. Experimenting with psilocyne if you’re depressed is strongly discouraged.
Consult your therapist to use our Psilocybe hollandia. The Psilocybe hollandia is grown with a constant amount of active substance Psilocybin in it. This prevents surprises.
At first i was a bit cautious cause i have never done truffels or any other drug next to Weed, so when i got the package i was really like “Wtf is this it looks a bit strange is it trustable?” You never know if you got something from the internet kinda random!
So, that night was a right moment to take them and see what its all about and i did it really carefully cause i didnt want to end in a bad trip( in the end i dont know why i was so worried ) so, first 1/3 waited for 2 hours, didnt notice anything and ate the whole piece! Did not taste that bas as i expected tho it had a weird flavor that reminded me of metal somehow.
Whether it’s a good idea to have sex while taking truffles, is personal. The idea sounds appealing as a trip intensifies feelings. Trufflemagic asked people about their experience.
Below, a (revised) contribution from user “Dr. No” about the use of hallucinogens (like truffles) for shamanic rituals.
It’s very important to be aware of your shamanic intentions before you try this.
The major benefit of drinking truffle magic tea compared to just eating the truffles is the taste. Magic truffles have a rather peculiartaste, which is not appreciated by everyone. By pulling the tea out of the truffles, the taste watered down and start your trip without the truffle taste in your mouth.

On December 1, 2011 Lea Bouwmeester, parliamentarian of addiction, mental health and prisons has submitted parliamentary questions in response to an article in newspaper Trouw on the unregulated sale of Magic Truffles in Holland.
According to Lea Bouwmeester:
“The unregulated sale of psychedelic truffles in gift shops is a very bad thing. Tourists are not informed and get them in large portions. ”This will go wrong, says the president of the association of smart shops to newspaper Trouw. I agree with him. I asked whether the ministers involved agree with me that it is better to regulate the sale through outlets that deal responsibly with the supply of drugs.
